A common misconception is that advanced treatments such as IVF (in-vitro-fertilization) are never covered by insurance. The truth is that a growing number of insurance plans offer fertility care that goes beyond the initial consultation and testing to include more advanced treatments, such as IVF. Very few fertility centers in the country, however, are prepared to accept your IVF benefit as full coverage. Most centers would only accept your insurance for consultations and basic testing leaving you with the burden of paying out-of-pocket for the most expensive part of the IVF process.
At CWRC, 85% of IVF and Donor IVF patients pay for care using their in-network benefits. That means your insurance will cover the full cost of the IVF cycle provided that your plan includes IVF; you pay only for co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles.
For those without in-network coverage, financial assistance options are available to make treatment possible for patients who otherwise might never be able to afford advanced care.
