Third Party Reproduction

Third Party Reproduction

Many patients are unable to get pregnant using their own genetic material for a variety of reasons. In these cases, their best treatment option may be egg or sperm donation. The success of our Third Party Reproduction Program is due to the superior clinical screening of donors, as well as the exceptional care and support services offered during this process. Our physicians, coordinators, and laboratory staff are uniquely skilled in advanced fertility treatment, and we have very high standards for donor screening and matching to recipients.

Donor Sperm

For patients seeking to use donated sperm, either from a known or unknown donor, there are many factors to consider, including the donation source and storage to protect all your future options for parenthood.

Egg Donation Program

When a donor egg is used, many women who were unable to become pregnant with their own eggs are able to carry a pregnancy. The donor egg is fertilized with sperm and the resulting embryo is frozen and then transferred to the recipient's uterus with a frozen embryo transfer (FET), which has become a common part of in vitro fertilization. Less often, the recipient’s menstrual cycle is synchronized so that a fresh embryo can be transferred. After egg donation, we strongly recommend elective single embryo transfer.
